Walk’n’Talk Therapy

Traditionally, therapy is conducted in a room where the client and the therapist talk and collaborate in dealing with the issues that are faced by the client.  Walk’n’Talk uses a mindfulness body orientation method as part of the therapy.  It can make it easier and less confronting for clients to process experiences in a different way.

As the name suggests, clients will talk with me while walking outdoors rather than sitting or lying down in a therapy room.  Walking together rather than sitting face to face allows some clients to feel more comfortable when sharing.

Walk’n’Talk does require an initial intake session, which will be conducted in person or online.
