What happens in the first counselling meeting?
Initial sessions are an opportunity for Angelo Campagna to carry out an assessment and for you to get to know Angelo better and together explore future sessions.
You will be able to discuss your concerns with Angelo in a confidential, non-judgemental and safe environment.
Can I claim the Medicare rebate?
he counselling service is not eligible for the Medicare rebate as Angelo Campagna is a Pastoral Counsellor and Psychotherapist, not a psychologist. The Medicare rebate, at this stage, is only available to Psychologists or Social Workers.
The Private Health Insures that Angelo is affiliated with are BUPA, Medibank Private and ahm.
Cancellations?
CANCELLATION POLICY (INDIVIDUAL AND COUPLES CONSULTATIONS) APPLIES.
When you book your appointment that time is specifically reserved for you.
Angelo Campagna can see only a limited number of clients per day, so appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled without 24-hour notice will be charged a full fee.
Non-attendance or cancellations on the day will be charged the full session fee.
Repeated cancellations or failure to pay the cancellation fee will result in the service being discontinued.
How long does the session last?
Usually between 50 minutes to an hour.
Is counselling with Angelo confidential?
Yes, as a clinical registered Counsellor of PACFA, Angelo Campagna offers private and confidential counselling support and complies with professional and legal requirements of confidentiality as set out in the Code of Ethics by PACFA.
The information you provide is not shared or discussed with anyone outside of the session other than in clinical supervision. In instances where someone, particularly a child, is considered at risk of harm from themselves or others, this confidentiality guideline would be lifted, and a disclosure may be mandatory.
Clients attending teletherapy (online or phone) should arrange sessions in confidential settings where they will not be overheard or interrupted.
Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral. You can contact Angelo Campagna directly by going to the Book online page to make a booking.
Can I claim with Private Health Insurance?
